Top Dog Day

Guide Dogs Victoria Top Dog Day

Guide Dogs Victoria Top Dog Day is coming up, and rest assured that it will be a day of raising money and awareness for a good cause, and not an event honouring Bee Smith, top dog from the long forgotten Australian drama Prisoner.

Top Dog Day is the latest fundraising event for Guide Dogs Victoria where you can buy or sell some cute little key rings, dog tags and other merchandise to support blind and vision impaired Victorians.

Primary and Secondary Schools, and businesses, are encouraged to get involved by selling boxes of funky Guide Dogs stuff, dressing up as dogs, having casual clothes days, and selling hot dogs for gold coin donations.

Retail partners Foodworks, Pets Paradise, Pet Goods Direct, Video Ezy and Zamel's Jewellers will also be stocking the entire range of Top Dog Day merchandise throughout July 2007.

Top Dog Day is a day to celebrate your own two or four-legged variety Top Dog, which could be somebody at work, at school at home or in your local community. You can decide how to celebrate them best, but just make sure you have fun while youre doing it.

This first Top Dog Day will be the start of an annual celebration that will help raise money to support Guide Dogs Victoria blind and vision impaired Victorians.

Guide Dogs Victoria Top Dog Day will be a month long celebration but will officially fall on July 27.
