Kids Wear Crazy Hair to Support Cystic Fibrosis Victoria
Thursday, February 28th, 2008 by Alex Hutton 0 comments to this post
Crazy Hair Day is on again and kids around Victoria will once more compete to see who has the craziest hair, all in the name of supporting Cystic Fibrosis Victoria.
Last year’s fundraising campaign attracted the participation of over 6000 students from 114 Victorian Schools.
Participating schools learn about the debilitating disease and each student, or teacher, who wears their hair ‘crazy’ is asked to donate a gold coin.
This year’s Crazy Hair Day is slated March 14, however schools may choose another day to support Cystic Fibrosis Victoria if they wish.
