This ANZAC Eve, the Abbotsford Convent will celebrate her fifth anniversary as a community owned asset. The Abbotsford Convent is a rare gem, a grand old dame albeit somewhat tarnished with age and worn by time. Help her realise her dazzling future as a beacon of arts and cultural activity. The Convent represents community life at its palpable, beautiful best, offering a shared nurturing and learning experience. She is the jewel in Melbournes cultural crown. She is a rough diamond.

This annual fundraising gala is your is your cue to frock up. Think shabby dandy, op shop chic, seen better days ball gowns, gothic glamour, bejeweled, bedazzled and more than a bit out there.

Friday 24 April 2009, 8pm - 12am The Abbotsford Convent,1 St Heliers St, Abbotsford

The ticket price includes a quality selection of wines, beer, soft drink, hot and cold canaps and live entertainment, all within the beautiful surrounds of the majestic and grand Convent building.

Early bird tickets are available until Tuesday 31 Mar, at $80 Full, $70 Concession and $70 per person for groups of 4 or more. Regular price tickets are available after Tuesday 31 Mar at $100 Full, $80 Concession and $80 per person for groups of 4 or more.
