Amnesty International’s Candle Day will raise awareness for human rights, with a particular emphasis this year on the very sensitive topic of China.
Candle Day activities will go on around Australia, with a Great Firewall of China event on at Federation Square and Candle Day stalls in the CBD.
If you want to help the people who help defend other people’s rights, you can make a donation or stop by a booth and get some more information.
Amnesty International Candle Day activities are on May 2 to 4, the Great Firewall of China will be set up from April 30 to May 4.
