Guide Dogs Victoria Top Dog Day is coming up, and rest assured that it will be a day of raising money and awareness for a good cause, and not an event honouring Bee Smith, top dog from the long forgotten Australian drama Prisoner.
Top Dog Day is the latest fundraising event for Guide Dogs Victoria where you can buy or sell some cute little key rings, dog tags and other merchandise to support blind and vision impaired Victorians.
Primary and Secondary Schools, and businesses, are encouraged to get involved by selling boxes of funky Guide Dogs stuff, dressing up as dogs, having casual clothes days, and selling hot dogs for gold coin donations. Read on…

Footy players everywhere are really getting it right this season, with a specky above anyone else, in aid of charity. Across the state, fields will be flushed with yellow on the weekend of June 23 and 24, in support of The Cancer Council Victoria and Essendon Football Club’s fundraising event, Call to Arms.
Call to Arms invites all football communities around Victoria to get amongst the pack, and show support to people touched by cancer.

Variety Australia, in partnership with Top Taste, is having their National Lamington Day (or rather week) this July.
Supporting Variety Australia is as easy as popping down to the local supermarket and picking up a pack of good old Top Taste Aussie lamingtons. (Lamingtons are actually a New Zealand creation but like all other successful New Zealand exports, we’ve decidedly made them our own).

We all enjoy, as a given, having heating, a roof over our heads and clothes to keep us warm outside but for some people, especially kids, those things are a luxury that they can’t afford.
